Our Breakfast

We are proud of our Breakfast Award.  We use locally sourced produce with free range Yokel eggs with fantastic golden yolks, award winning sausages, bacon from the Mad Butcher of Winkleigh and Sue's home made jam and marmalade plus your choice of cereal, toasted fresh bread from a local baker, fresh fruit and croissants.

Just a short walk away, in Winkleigh Village Square, is the Kings Arms, a beautiful old thatched country pub serving real ales and local cider along with good food.  Richard and Faye are sure to give you a warm welcome.

A short drive away you will find the New Inn at Sampford Coutenay, the Duke of York in Iddesleigh and the Lymington Arms in Wembworthy to name but a few all of which offer a choice of excellent bar and restaurant food in relaxed and characterful surroundings.

Room was modern and very comfortable with great views over the paddocks.Hosts were very friendly and helpful. "A beautiful house that is immaculately kept. The house has wonderful vistas from all angles- but is at the top of a very steep hill! (A warning for cyclists).
There is very little to do in the village- not the problem of the owners. It really feels like you are staying in someone's house. "
